Fender 1998 MIM Stratocaster with New Pickguard, electronics & matched set of Van Zandt Blues Pickups

This guitar is totally unique, a true one of a kind. It's what we call a "Rebuild":

The body and neck are Made in Mexico (MIM), 1998. A beautiful Candy Apple Red, with classic maple neck and fretboard. the Tremolo Bridge, block and springs are original. When we acquired the guitar, the pickguard was destroyed, and the electronics were not usable. So, we picked out a Fender pickguard, and wired it with a CLR switch, with CTS pots for the volume, and neck tone pot, and a Fender TBX (Treble, Bass Extender) as the middle tone pot, wired to both the bridge and middle pickup, a setup Fender introduced in the early 90s on their American standards. Then we loaded it with Van Zandt Pickups; "The Blues" matched set. It's unique and classic all in one beautiful guitar.
