About Lorien Guitar Recovery
Located in the historic foothill community of Boring, Oregon, our unique guitar and music store, Lorien Guitar Recovery, stands out. We started with the belief that musical instruments that were used and often abandoned, were a rich source of raw materials to build a business refurbishing them for re-use, and determined that such a business model was in alignment with our desire to support and manage a carbon neutral business. What started out as a desire to learn the guitar while on a budget, evolved into a business providing music instruments that are playable, affordable, and through our retail store, and on-line platforms, accessible. We are Lorien Guitar Recovery, Saving the World, One Guitar at a Time.
