About Lorien Guitar Recovery, LLC
Started selling repaired and refurbished guitars in 2013, from our barn located in the historic Mt Hood foothill community of Boring, Oregon. We refurbish guitars as well as buy refurbished guitars from factory sources and resell them. We started as an on-line used guitar focused outlet. In 2015 we started selling at local outdoor markets, until Covid.
In 2022 we opened a music store in Boring, and for 4 years provided direct access to our instruments, and repair services. In 2023 we expanded to selling, servicing, and renting, Violins, Mandolins, Banjos, and band instruments.
In early 2026 we converted our company into an LLC, hoping to expand, but soon had to abandon out retail outlet due to conditions beyond our control. We are now back to our on-line sales focus, but still provide local repairs & instrument refurbishment, and limited local sales and rentals.
What started out as a desire to provide exceptional guitars that were affordable, evolved into a business providing a wide variety of refurbished musical instruments that are playable, affordable, accessible.
